AUSTIN CITY LIMITS

Back at the beginning of the month, one of my roommates and I went to Austin City Limits. We had both never been before because it's so expensive but let me tell ya, it was worth every penny. Tons of our favorite bands were there and we got to be front row for a lot of them. It was definitely exhausting and hard to get myself out of bed by the third day, but we had the time of our lives!

DAY 1

When dressing for ACL you have to think casual. I tried not too worry too much about looking cute because you're outside in the heat all day long. Wearing a dress was a good idea and I love this button down from Madewell because it's short sleeved. Chacos were also a good idea. As long as you're good with having a Chaco tan to last the rest of the year.
DAY 2

hey Ryn Weaver

dress / flannel (last year urban outfitters)
I'm absolutely obsessed with the dress I wore this day. It was so lightweight and a little on the longer side so I was able to be comfortable in the heat and still dance like crazy to my favorite bands (aka Twenty One Pilots)
DAY 3

bralettte / shorts (similar worn unrolled) / buff

By the last day I had run out of "ACL outfits" to wear so I borrowed this shirt from my roommate who is in this picture. And also got super lazy with my hair and hadn't washed it all weekend so top knot was the way to go! It was super hot anyways! Oh and I can't forget to mention the Buff I'm wearing. If you're at all into outdoorsy things or are obsessed with headbands, get a Buff! They are the coolest things, you can wear them so many different ways! They have some that are strictly headbands but the one I'm wearing can be worn around your neck, as a beanie, and so many other ways it's so fun. (I have also used it as an eye mask which works really well haha)

I miss ACL sososo much and I hope next year's line up is at least half as good as this one was because it was a BLAST! If you ever get the chance to go DO IT! You won't regret it.
